When you open ADHD+ for the first time, it asks what to call you, and you can skip that. That's it. No email, no password, no "Sign in with". Your routines, alarms and progress stay on your phone, and we never see any of it.

That was a deliberate choice, not a missing feature. Here's why we made it, what it means for you, and exactly what the app does and doesn't send.

Why we built it this way

An ADHD app knows a lot about you

A routine app can hold some of the most personal information on your phone: that you have ADHD or think you might, when you take medication, when you wake up and when you don't, which days fall apart. Even with no "health data" label, together it paints a very personal picture.

We think that should stay with you by default, not on a server by default.

An account is a wall before step one

ADHD+ is built by people with ADHD, for people with ADHD. We know how many good intentions die at "create an account": the email you have to check, the password you'll forget, the verification link. Every extra step before the first routine is a chance to close the app and never come back. So there are none.

Nothing to break, nothing to leak

If your data isn't on our servers, it can't be leaked from our servers, sold, or lost in a company outage. The app also works the same with or without signal, on a plane, or in a basement.

What this means for you

  • No sign-up. Open the app and start building your first routine.
  • Works offline. Routines, alarms, the timeline and your progress all work without a connection.
  • No analytics. We don't track how you use the app. The App Store privacy label for ADHD+ says Data Not Collected.
  • No ads. Nothing in the app is selling your attention.
  • Purchases go through Apple or Google. If you buy ADHD+ Pro, the App Store or Google Play handles the payment. We never see your card details.

What it means in practice

Keeping everything on your phone has a few plain consequences:

  • No sync between devices. Your routines live on the phone you use. For an app built around the alarm that wakes you up, that's the phone that matters.
  • Your phone's backup is your backup. Your ADHD+ data is included in your phone's own backups, like other app data. If you delete the app, the data on your phone goes with it.
  • We can't restore anything for you. Support can help with how the app works, but we can't see or recover your routines, because we never had them.

Exactly what the app sends

"Nothing leaves your phone" should be checkable, so here's the full list:

  1. Purchases. Handled by Apple's App Store or Google Play, as with any app.
  2. Update checks (iPhone). Once a day, the app asks the App Store's public listing which version is current, so it can tell you about updates. That request contains nothing about you or your routines.

That's all. No account server, no analytics service, no advertising code.

How to check any app

You don't have to take our word for it. On the App Store, every app has an App Privacy section on its listing. On Google Play, it's called Data safety. Our guide to private ADHD apps that don't need an account shows how to read both in two minutes, and how to test whether an app works offline.

What ADHD+ does

ADHD+ is a daily routine planner built for ADHD brains:

  • Alarms that start your routine. Each routine has its own alarm, a real alarm that rings through silent mode or a gentler notification. Stop it, and the routine's checklist is ready.
  • Short checklists. Start from a template like Morning Launch, Out the Door or Wind Down, or write your own.
  • A daily timeline of what's next.
  • No streaks. Progress shows how many of the last 7 days you showed up.

It's free for 3 routines of up to 3 steps each, with no time limit. ADHD+ Pro unlocks unlimited routines and steps, plus 30- and 90-day progress history: $5.99 a month or $34.99 a year, with a 7-day free trial on the yearly plan. New here? Here's how to set up your first routine.

The short version

  • ADHD+ has no account, no analytics and no cloud. Everything stays on your phone.
  • We chose this because an ADHD app holds very personal information, and because an account is a wall before step one.
  • The trade: no sync between devices, and your phone's backup is your backup.
  • The only things the app sends are purchases (through Apple or Google) and, on iPhone, a daily check for updates.

ADHD+ is an organization tool, not a medical treatment.
