1. Introduction

Welcome to ADHD+. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data.

ADHD+ is built to work entirely on your device. Your rituals, alarms, progress and anything you tell us about yourself are stored on your iPhone and are never sent to us. This policy explains what the app stores, what it doesn't do, and the few places where Apple's services are involved.

2. What the app collects

Your rituals and progress — stored on your device only. The rituals you create, their steps, your alarm times and settings, and your history of completed or skipped rituals are saved in a database on your device. We never receive a copy.

Your name and "about you" answers — optional, and stored on your device only. During setup, ADHD+ may ask for your first name and some optional questions about you: your age range, whether you've been diagnosed with ADHD, your ADHD type, how it affects your day, whether you take medication, what you find hardest, and how you heard about the app. Every question can be skipped. We use your answers only to tailor the app on your device, for example to suggest a starter ritual or leave medication steps out. These answers can be sensitive, so they never leave your device and are never shared with us or anyone else.

Purchases — handled by Apple. ADHD+ Pro subscriptions and the one-time Lifetime purchase are processed by Apple through the App Store. We never see your name, Apple ID, or payment details. The app only checks with Apple whether your device has an active Pro purchase, so it can unlock Pro features and remind you before a free trial ends.

Notifications and alarms — scheduled on your device. Ritual alarms, alerts and the free trial reminder are scheduled locally on your device using Apple's notification and alarm features. They aren't sent from our servers, and we don't collect notification or device tokens.

ADHD+ contains no third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking code.

3. What we do not do

  • We don't require an account. There's no sign-up and no login.
  • We don't run servers that store your data. We have no copy of your rituals, history, name or answers, so we can't view, recover or share them.
  • We don't track you across apps or websites, and we don't use advertising identifiers.
  • We don't sell or share your data with anyone.

4. Security

Your data is stored in the app's private storage on your device and is protected by iOS, including the encryption Apple applies to device storage when you use a passcode. Because nothing is sent to us, there's no server copy of your data that could be exposed.

If your device is backed up to iCloud or to a computer, your ADHD+ data is included in that backup like other app data. Those backups are managed by Apple and by your own device settings.

5. Data retention and deletion

Your data stays on your device for as long as ADHD+ is installed. You can delete individual rituals at any time in the app. Deleting ADHD+ from your device removes all of its data, apart from any copies in your own device backups.

Since we don't have accounts or server-side data, there's nothing for us to delete on our side. Your App Store purchase history is kept by Apple under Apple's privacy policy.

6. Children's privacy

Our service is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date above.
